Communication, Navigation, Surveillance and Management Systems for Seaport

TSL provides maintenance services and solutions for port communications, navigation, surveillance and management systems, and maritime search-and-rescue systems.

Its vessel-tracking, radar, radio, microwave and cospas-sarsat rescue systems, together with other supporting systems, manage vessel traffic and port safety in Hong Kong waters, which is southern China’s maritime hub and the world’s busiest container port.

In year 2000, together with a partner, TSL won two multi-million-dollar contracts to upgrade the vessel-traffic surveillance systems used by the Hong Kong and Macau marine departments. They are equipped with the most advanced surveillance-and-communication equipment in line with the latest International Maritime Organization requirements.

We provide the following systems:

· Radar system

· Multi-sensor fusion, tracking and display system in the control center

· Day and night CCTV system

· VHF and UHF radio-communication systems

· VHF direction-finding (DF) system

· ntegrated hotline and voice-communication systems

· 24-hour multimedia logging system

· Automatic identification system (AIS)

· Master time generation system
Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system

· Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system

· Microwave communication network for transporting remote radar, video, voice and control signals

· Computer training and simulation system

· Wireless control navigation system for marine traffic lights and foghorn
